Prague 3 extends into an attractively reconstructed part of Vinohrady on the south, to the west as far as Rajska zahrada. It is centered on the originally working-class district of Zizkov with its typical gallery dwellings.
The time of cracked facades and rundown tenements is gradually coming to an end and Zizkov is becoming a highly popular residential location. There are many smaller projects to provide for modern, comfortable living.
The main landmarks are the Zizkov Tower and Vítkov National Monument.
Prague 3 has many pubs, cafes, wine bars and shops and is rightly known as the Prague Montmartre.
